You will find this typical Berlin cinema right in the center of the city, only a few minutes away from Alexanderplatz. Do not be surprised when you arrive there, in front of a very normal porch with no indication at all : your Google maps’ app is not mistaken! You indeed have to go through all the inner courtyards and alleys to discover the tiny cinema. And this little game is actually part of its appeal ! On your way, you will admire nice street art, original statues… and many other things ! You will even be able to relax and wait for the beginning of your movie in some cool bars with unpronounceable names and settings that seem to come from Star Wars movies.

There are only two rooms in the cinema, with respectively 96 and 76 seats, but very cosy ones. All movies are displayed in their Original Version, most of them with German subtitles (and it is actually quite funny and disturbing to see a movie in English with German subtitles if you are not yourself German!). Kino Central plays mostly independent films in English or French, but also the latest blockbusters.

Besides, you will find anything you want at the entrance desk to enjoy your film at most. In which other city could you have a beer (or even a tee if you want) while watching your movie? In which other cinema could you have fun making shadows on the screen, because it is very very tiny?

Tips: you have probably noticed that cinemas are quite expensive in Berlin. But Kino Central offers you two interesting options: either you show your student card and get a discounted price of 7,50€, either you go there with some friends and if you’re more than five, each of you will only pay 5€!
