Datscha

 Russian Restaurant

It is impossible to avoid the Russian influences in Berlin. If you want to feel a particular soviet atmosphere and eat in a place straight out of DDR, you are more than welcome at Datscha.

This restaurant offers a very tasty experience. We especially love their Brunch on Sundays with typical Russian food. Meat, bacon, eggs, gratin, vegetables, fishes, pies, salads, deserts… the buffet is always delicious (and you can refill your plate as many times as you want)!

If you are looking for a more intimate ambiance, and try ancient recipes of Russian food, you might try to book a table for lunch or dinner. Try the Borsch, the typical Russian soup, share some Blini, eat a meat marinated in Vodka and do not leave before your vodka shot!

If the weather is nice, we advise you to go to Datscha Xberg. The district is quiet, charming and you will enjoy the sun on the terrace. Datscha Xberg is also decorated like an ancient DDR apartment and has several rooms, which is perfect is you are looking for a more “private” and “romantic” atmosphere. Datscha Friedrichshain is also lovely but smaller.

Last but not least, reservations are not possible for a brunch so you might wait a little before eating. If you want to lunch or have dinner, it is better to book first.
